The Counseling Departments 20-21 Theme: RESILIENCE

Resilience is the ability to keep going strong even through tough times.

“It doesn’t have to take over your life, it doesn’t have to define you as a person, it’s just important that you ask for help. It’s not a sign of weakness.” - Demi Lovato

BHS Counseling Mission & Philosophy

I will work with faculty, staff, students, parents, and the whole Brazos community to provide services that meet our students' needs. I strive to provide resources to assist parents, students, and faculty in creating a positive environment and helping encourage our students to be successful in all endeavors.

I believe that mental wellness is the key to our success. If you are struggling with your mental health, you will struggle in other aspects of life. I believe that we can be well and find success in life as long as we are willing and able. I believe you should never be afraid to ask for help!
